A Pictorial Adventure
-From the scooter-filled streets of Taiwan to the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong with its
night markets, busy harbour and islands. Onwards by train into the swiftly developing Chinese mainland
to cruise on the Pearl River and visit the Guangzhou International Trade Exhibition of Arts and Crafts. Marvelling at the incredible array of carved jade and bone, beads, pearls and semiprecious stones
of every description, which were on offer amongst the 2500 trade stands on show.

Collecting Dzi beads and other treasures, before returning to the quieter areas of Taiwan
to enjoy the magnificence of its temples and the peace of its little-known landscapes.
